Requitron infant respiration/heart rate monitor 8200 This vital sign monitor has warning indicators for apnea, fast and slow heart rate, battery and lead. There's also heartbeat and respiration indicators. There's an on/off switch and a reset button on the front. On the back is a 1/8" phono connector labelled "remote alarm", two 1/8" phono connectors labelled "output" ECG and Resp, a female three-pin patient cable connector (patient cable with three one-pin connectors at the other end is included), a 15-pin female D connector labelled "interface" with an on/off switch, and a power connector (power adapter is included). Under a removable plastic shield are additional control knobs; apnea from 10 to 30 seconds, heart rate fast from 150 to 300 BPM (and also with an "off" setting), heart rate slow from 40 to 100 BPM, ECG 1-10 and respiration 1-10, and a switch for selecting manual or auto. The unit comes with a carrying case. The unit appears to have been dropped at some point; the plastic cover over the knobs on the back of the unit has a long crack running through it (it's been superglued and appears structurally sound) and the carrying case's transparent cover has shattered (it's held together with electrician's tape but doesn't look very secure). When plugged in and turned on the unit didn't respond at all. The power adapter is putting power out, so there appears to be an internal problem of some sort. Internal batteries are present but their quality is unknown. This unit is being provided as a source of spare parts.
