Purchased June 30, 2010. These chairs are invincible and are one of the best, if not the best, in terms of ergonomic support; particularly when it comes to "sit rating" regarding how long one can be supported by the chair causing the least amount of strain. There are times when I have had to work 16 hour days, and while I do get up to stretch, grab a bite, or refill my tea, I am planted in my Herman Miller chairs for several hours at a time and I can say honestly that it's more comfortable than sitting in bed. I have actually thought about fixing a pillow to the chair at times so that I could just pass out at my desk :) This particular model has fixed arms that can be adjusted with a tool, but are not the arms that can be adjusted on the spot. Purchased for $748.00 from Sit 4 Less, this chair has been used a fair amount, however it's still as strong as the day I purchased it since I have rotate through a few of these that I have at my home office. There may be a bit of dust and some scuff marks, but overall the chair lives up to the Herman Miller reputation in terms of appearance and quality. I will be happy to work with you to ship this chair if that is what you want, however be advised that ground shipping for this product is pricey.
