General Description/Specs… =================================== This is a HP 54510B 300 MHz real-time Oscilloscope. I have refurbished this unit. It has been cleaned up both inside and out. I calibrated and tested the unit. It passes all self-tests. What you see in the pictures is what you get (Not the test board). I have shown many of the main menus in the pictures. Study them to learn functionality. Two channels of 300 MHz repetitive bandwidth. · Math functions include FFT. · Real time single shot bandwidth is 250 MHz. · Complex triggering! Capture simultaneously on 2 channels. You can Pattern Trigger EXT on a glitch and see 2 channels of what caused it! · Real time clock and sequential capture with time tag. This feature allows you to capture a sequence of waveforms into 8K of memory. These waveforms can be triggered by any trig event. You could trigger with an external pacer and capture many waveforms over a period of time. See your circuit power up or drift over time. (Think of high speed time lapse photography) · 1GSa/s A/D digitizer sample rate (1GSa/s single shot) · 8K memory depth (capture events negative in time from your trigger) · Auto-scale (automatically find a signal and do the setup on it) · Front Panel Automatic measurements (Volts, Pulse, Timing, cursors) · Complex trigger… pattern HLX, delay time, >, <, etc · Hardcopy to HPIB printer (firmware is built in to HPIB printer) · Fully programmable (HPOL oscilloscope language via HPIB) The 54510B Digitizing Oscilloscope is a general purpose repetitive and real time oscilloscope. The 54510B is fully programmable and transportable. It has programmability, powerful triggering, easy waveform storage, automatic measurements, and instant hardcopy output via the HPIB port. Any of the older HP printers or plotters with HP-IB interfaces can be connected as a hardcopy device. In the repetitive mode, it can construct a waveform from repeated acquisitions with sample placement precise to 10 psec relative to the analog trigger. Therefore timing measurement accuracy between two channels can be made accurate to 10 psec. In the real time mode, Two complete waveform can be captured with a single trigger event such as a narrow noise glitch. It has a one nsec sample interval. It is great for finding rare glitches. Complex trigger events can be defined such as; “edge”, “Pattern”, “State”, “Delay”, or “TV”. Electronic condition: Fully reconditioned. It passes all self-test and is calibrated. Cosmetic condition… This is a very clean unit. Both the front panel and chassis look good. See the pictures. The Display is crisp and clear with very slight pattern burn in. If not your DHL account, I can ship USPS express mail international but only if the item conforms to size limitations set by your countries’ customs. If they are listed as; “parts only”, “Condition unknown”, or “as is”, I bid. I then recondition them such that they pass all self-test and pass calibration. Of course not all units can be repaired. I disassemble these units for parts. Agilent has classified many of these units as obsolete and parts are not available from Agilent. I have accumulated many of the obsolete parts and many are listed in my store “watronics92” I will run the auto self cal on any unit I sell, but I do not have an ISO certified lab. Any unit I sell will pass calibration at an ISO calibration lab.
