Agilent/HPCRI Part Number HP E4418B Power Meter is designed for bench and automatic test equipment (ATE) use. This power meter boasts a fast measurement speed of up to 200 readings per second, over the GPIB, with E-series sensors. It also boasts a speed improvement of x2 using the 8480 series power sensor (compared to the 437B). Additionally, there are no range-switching delays with 8480 series sensors, and only one fast-range switch point with E-series sensors. The power meter also has code compatibility with 437B and 436A power meters, and has both GPIB and RS232 connectors for remote control of all functions. There is also an internal rechargeable battery option that provides up to 5.5 hours of continuous use (option 001). The frequency range is from 9 kHz to 110 GHz, sensor dependent, and the power range is from вЂ“70 dBm to +44 dBm (100 pW to 25 W), sensor dependent. Lastly, power sensors are compatible with all 8480 series and E-series sensors, and single sensor dynamic range is 90 dB maximum (E-series sensors) and 50 dB maximum (8480 series sensors).
