 I bought this at an estate sale in Columbus Ohio at what appeared to be a dentist or dental instructor. I am selling it as is, but I will tell you that is appears to be in good working condition. All the weights are inside and they all go up and down on the balance beam as the dials are turned on the front of the machine. This thing is really a great piece just in studying the cog gears that add and subtract weights from the scale as the dials are turned. The weights go down to the size of just a thin hoop of wire. I am sure it will need some adjustments. I put a new bulb in it, and there is another spare on the back. There is a little bit of corrorsion on the inside metal part that the tray sits on. Doesn't appear that it would affect anything. I didn't try to scrub it off.  Any questions please feel free to ask. Shipping is going to be a bear, but I will try to tie everything down as best I can. I will do some research and see if I can find the original package information on the unit. I just sold another torsion scale and the buyer sent me the info on how to lock it down, so if you know any tricks on this unit, feel free to share them with me. This can also be picked up in Portsmouth, Ohio if preferred.
