 ALD formally Leybold KSR-60 electron beam gun. 60 KW at 30 KV and 2 ampere maximum power. Used for cold hearth melting, button melting, and thick film evaporation. Original install date 1985. Taken out of service 1998. Treated well, was on research furnace, only used few hundred hours total. Cooling water was treated for corrosion protection. Dry since 1998. However some corrosion visible in inlet/outlet cooling water lines. O-rings are probably bad.  Needs dis-assembly and replace all o-rings, (metric). Gun should then function properly again. Estimate about 7-10 years life left on the gun. Sold as-is. Inquire for rebuild / test / warrantee services if desired. Also good for spare parts, insulator and magnetics same for all Leybold KSR models. Pickup or you arrange a freight shipment.  I will load a shipping truck if you arrange and pay for shipping. USA shipping addresses only.
