We do not make money out of shipping. As a matter of fact, we prefer that buyers arrange their own parcel or freight shipping if they believe they could save money by doing so. We all know that freight shipping is expensive and fees continue to increase due to higher fuel prices. Higher freight cost negatively impacts our sales as it makes the overall transaction more expensive for buyers. This is especially true if we are shipping an item from Arizona to the east coast. If you are intending to bid on an item that will ship via freight, please ask for a freight quote before buying. We try to shop around for the best shipping rates to make our products more affordable to purchase. Please do not rate us unfavorable when it comes to shipping. If you ever think the parcel or freight cost is unreasonable, arrange your own or consider not purchasing the item. We would rather not sell than receive poor feedback. We charge $45 palletization fees per pallet for freight shipment. This is to cover a portion of the cost of the pallet, packaging supplies, and the average two hours that it takes to palletize an item. For international shipping, where crating is necessary, please contact the seller for a crating quote. Keep in mind that lead time is up to 5 business days for domestic shipping and up to 10 business days for international shipping. International Buyers: Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs officials to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. If you would like us to provide you a competitive freight quote in a timely manner, it is important to please e-mail us all of the following information: 1.    your zip code 2.    the type of address you have (i.e. residential or commercial) 3.    whether or not you need a lift-gate delivery truck 4.    whether or not your business is located in “Limited Access” area 5.    whether your commercial address is a school, university, or church 6.    whether or not you would like to be notified by the freight company prior to delivery If you have a residential address and would like to save money on freight shipping, we can deliver your item to a freight terminal. They will then call you to go pick it up yourself. This could save you between $50 and $100. Receiving the Shipment: ALWAYS inspect items for damage BEFORE accepting the shipment from the shipping company driver. Any prior existing damage on the used equipment we sell will already be described and noted on listing. Additionally, we take pictures of all items before, during, and after packaging. A very small number of freight shipments actually sustain damage in transit to the buyer. Once again, be sure to inspect your item well upon arrival and note specifics on paperwork. The most common cause of damage in parcel shipment is not paying attention to “Fragile” labels and rough-handling packages. With freight shipping, pokes in packaging from a forklift forks could happen, so do pay special attention to any holes that may be poked in the packaging and also to the lower 18 inches of the shipment. Inspect the outside of the packaging for dents or crushed corners. If you see anything even slightly suspicious, carefully remove all packaging and inspect the item. Occasionally, a driver may become impatient with the extra time it takes to do this, but that rare small inconvenience far outweighs having to settle for a damaged item. Unlike with FedEx or UPS, if you sign your Freight Bill free of any claims, then you have no recourse if you later discover that it was damaged.   If your item is damaged, you have two options. You can note any damage on the freight bill and accept the item anyway, or you can refuse the shipment. Keep in mind that 99% of freight damage is “cosmetic” in nature. If you sign the Freight Bill “damaged,” then the freight company may 1) replace your item, 2) approve reimbursement for parts and repair, or 3) provide compensation depending on the damage to your item. This is often the best option if you need to get your item operational as soon as possible and the damage is purely cosmetic. Nevertheless, you will also need to inform us to file a claim with the shipping company after you note damage on the Freight Bill and accept the shipment. If you refuse the shipment, it will be returned to us. This is usually the best option if your shipment is damaged beyond repair. If you accept your shipment in a damaged state, it is very important that you call the freight company immediately to schedule an inspection. You should take good pictures from different angles of the item and the packaging, and you should save all packaging material. Warranties and Refund: We sell our equipment with one of the following warranty designations:   1.    No Returns Accepted: This could be due to one of the following three reasons: A.   Item is not tested and is being sold “as is, where is” with no return allowed. This does not mean that the item does not work. It could mean either we are unable to test it due to inadequate setup at our facility or we do not have the technical expertise to carry out such a comprehensive test.  Very rarely, an item indeed does not work and could require repair. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to perform such repairs at his/her own cost. Buyers are welcome to visit us in Arizona or send a representative on their behalf to inspect and test the item on site. If this is not possible, you may call us and walk us though your test procedure and we will be happy to assist if we are able to do so. B.   Item has been tested and it is in working condition, but is being sold “as is, where is” with no returns allowed due to its fragility and the sensitivity of components inside the item. This primarily applies to parcel shipments for some lab and testing equipment as these could sustain damage if shipped back to the seller with improper packaging. C.   All international sales including sales to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska are carried out without returns, exchanges, or any kind of warranties. For these geographical locations, all items are sold “as is, where is” as it does not make sense to return items or exchange them when the international shipping could cost as much as the item itself.   2.    Returns Accepted: This returns-accepted policy applies to much of the equipment we sell, and it could be either for 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days from the day you receive the item (not from the day you open the package). This usually ties in with how easy it is for the buyer to unpack, set up, and test the item. For example, a small item that is easy to set up and test will have a 1-day return policy from the day you receive it. A large pizza oven might carry a 7-day return policy.   Please keep in mind that in order to refund your money, you must follow the process below: a)    The buyer should contact us by e-mail before the expiration date of the return policy, notifying us about his/her intention to return the item b)    The buyer is responsible for packing, shipping, and insurance costs for returns to the seller’s address. c)    Items must be returned in their original pre-sale condition. d)    Items that were banded to a pallet and shrink-wrapped or crated must be returned in the same manner. e)    The seller will issue the refund once the item is received at the seller's address and inspected. The refund will include the item purchase price ONLY and will NOT include any shipping or handling charges to and from seller’s address.   Payment Policy: (PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING) Any item that is listed for $2000 or less should be paid using Paypal. Payment must be received by the seller within 48 hours after the sale of the item. If you wish to pay by check or another form of payment, please contact the seller prior to purchasing the item. For items listed over $2000, we do not accept Paypal. Full payment for the item must be received by the seller within 5 days of purchasing the item. Acceptable forms of payment include: Business Check, Personal Check, or Bank Cashier Check mailed to the seller's address on the invoice (note: Personal Checks will take longer to clear); Bank Wire-Transfer (there will be $15 charge for national wire-transfers & $35 charge for international wire-transfers to cover incoming wire-transfer fees charged by our bank) International, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska buyers: If you are buying items that will be shipped either Air or Marine cargo and did not request a quote from us prior to buying the item, then payment for the item and crating fees are due based on the payment Policy stated above. You will be invoiced separately for shipping charges via Paypal once we have your item crated and ready for shipment. All buyers: If you cannot make the payment in a timely manner as described above, you must contact us before purchasing an item. Otherwise, please do not bid. Liability Disclosure: By bidding on this item, the buyer acknowledges that there may be an inherent danger in its use, either physical or environmental, and that it is the purchaser's sole responsibility for the handling, use, disposal, and appropriateness of use of a particular item, and will hold the seller harmless from any and all liability that might arise from his/her purchase and/or use of the item. Thank you and we value your business!
