Amber Science / VWR Scientific Model 7568 Platinizing Station for Platinizing Conductivity Cells. New Surplus. The Model 7568 Platinizing Station was designed for Re-Platinizing the (Pt) plated Conductivity cells.  Any time a (Pt) cell is cleaned it should be re-platinized.  A well cared for cell will last much longer than a cell that receives no cleaning and maintenance.  A clean cell is imperative for accurate measurements.  This station is fully portable and operates on 6 "AA" batteries (not included).  The front panel features two cell connectors, one for re-platinizing 5 pin and 8 pin and one for 6 pin (Pt) conductivity cells.  Includes a package of cotton tipped applicators for cleaning cells, a solution tube for platinizing solution (solution not included) and instruction manual.
