We have three Amerex model 488 wheeled fire extinguishers. 125 lb of ammonium phosphate extinguishing agent, rated 30A, 240BC. Especially useful where flammable liquids are handled, such as fueling stations, tank farms, and other places where serious fire protection is warranted.  The auction is for one extinguisher.  If you could use two or three, let me know. We bought these new in late 2007 and early 2008. They remain in excellent condition. They were protected from the sun and weather by fitted vinyl covers. They were last inspected in July 2013. The 50-foot hose is pliable, not hardened or cracked. The tires are excellent. The design keeps the weight off the tires except when you're actually moving the unit around. So they don't develop a flat spot. These are easy for one person to move. According to the manufacturer, the range is 40 feet and the extinguishing agent will run for 48 seconds.  The usual retail price for the Amerex 488 is about $3,000. Grainger lists them at $3,200, for example. Closing our business.
