American Optical Stereo Star Zoom Dissecting Microscope, Model 570, 0.7X to 4.2X, made in the U.S.A.  Includes two 10X Wide Field American Optical Eyepieces, Catalog 146.  The magnifications available are thus 7X to 42X with the eyepieces installed. The microscope has been cleaned, lubricated, and tested; everything works fine.  The microscope includes a stage plate (white on one side, black on the other) and stage clips.  The 570 pod is rotatable within its mount, and the entire head assembly can also be rotated through a full 360 degrees by loosening the adjustment screw on the base post.  The last four images were taken with this microscope with a digital camera attached.  The images are of the filament of a small halogen bulb taken at magnifications of, respectively, 7X, 10X, 25X, and 42X.  See for yourself the sharpness and clarity of the images. All in all, a very nice microscope which will offer years of dependable service.
