With its six-link construction and adjustable opening size from 3-15/16" x 8-7/8" to 7-1/2" across the flats of a hexagon shape, the Amptran CT-50-1 is a reliable and effective current probe for a range of applications. Its output is picked up through an 8-foot cable and coil, which allows for easy location of the Amprobe instrument or transducer in areas least affected by extraneous magnetic fields. The CT-50-1 current probe offers excellent insulation for use on circuits up to 5000 volts, with a peak of 7000 volts. Its 50:1 В±2% ratio on a sinusoidal wave form (В±3% above 5000 to 6000 amperes) conductor centering ensures consistent and accurate measurements. Please note that we do not accept returns, so The Amptran CT-50-1 current probe is a highly versatile split-core transformer that allows for the measurement and monitoring of line currents up to 5000 AC amperes. Designed to extend the range of various Amprobe models including ACD-1/2 Digital, AM-3B Multimeters, and AM-4 devices, the CT-50-1 can handle continuous duty at 60/50 Hz and intermittent duty above 5000 to 6000 amperes for up to 15 minutes.
