The Anritsu S251C Site Master Cable and Antenna Analyzer with Option 5 RF Power Monitor is well-suited for cellular and microwave systems. Its performance-enhancing design features high sector to-sector isolation, tower-mounted amplifiers, and duplexed antennas that add new complexities to site installation, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting cables. Measurement capability includes return loss, cable loss, and distance-to-Fault (DTF) analysis using frequency domain reflectometry (FDR) technology. The S251C also functions as a VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) power meter. It has a selectable +6 dBm or +30 dBm output and optional Bias Tee that lets users conveniently verify Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) gain before and after installation. The S251C's patented RF interference rejection feature and high dynamic range (>90 dB) allow the S251C to accurately measure antenna-to-antenna isolation in the presence of high RF activity. Applications of the S251C Site Master Cable and Antenna Analyzer include wireless network field measurements, Cable and Antenna testing for VHF, broadcasting, paging, cellular, PCS/GSM, 3G, ISM, WLAN, and WLL applications, return loss measurement, distance-to-fault measurement, cable loss measurement, tower mounted amplifier testing, and Antenna isolation measurement that can be easily tested with >90 dB dynamic range. The S251C is handheld, battery-operated, and lightweight at only 4 lbs (including battery). It also has a multilingual user interface; English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, and pop-up cable menus containing over Data Analysis Software enables assessment of system trends, problems, and performance in addition to professional report generation. An optional power monitor is available to make power measurements quickly and easily. The S251C model Site Master Cable and Antenna Analyzer comes with data analysis software, a soft carrying case, a rechargeable battery, an AC/DC power supply, a 12.5V automobile cigarette lighter adapter, and a user's guide. To simplify performance verification for these systems, the Site Master в„ў Handheld Cable and Antenna Analyzer Model S251C has a second test port for isolation, gain, and insertion loss measurements. With a frequency range of 625 MHz-2500 MHz, it is perfect for field technicians working in cellular, PCS/GSM, and ISM applications.
