Hello, this auction is for a fine quality brass galley for storing Letterpress type and forms, made by the Paragon Brass Galley firm in 1896. This galley is about 6.75" wide and 24" long with sides around a half-inch. The galley is made entirely of brass and will last at least another 100 years. Due to these dimensions, I will need to ship using a USPS flat-rate game board box which carries the same postage as a large flat-rate box through USPS. See also my Brass and Wood Galley auction #154567423176. I will combine shipping charges, should you win both auctions. Also, free local pickup is available if you live near Cincinnati/NKY. Sure, you can get steel galleys for a lot less, but the ambience of brass gives your shop a truly antique quality! I did not clean off the oxidation to preserve the history vibe, other than to get a clear picture of the date and manufacturer. I will wrap this galley and support it as necessary to make sure it gets to you without damage or breakage. eBay will add your appropriate sales tax. Thanks for looking!
