This auction is for a super unique and rare industrial Nathaniel Tufts Gas Flow Meter, made in Boston, Mass. I believe this flow meter was made during the late 1800's - early 1900's. Appears to be made of solid copper throughout. Has glass tubes and a porcelain numbered gauge, as seen in photos. Has a fitting at bottom to attach to some type of equipment. Has two valves on top. I believe a gauge fits into the hole of one of the valves. Valves open and close and work properly. Overall condition of this antique gas flow meter is very good considering age. There is antique wear due to this meter being over a hundred years old. Glass tubes are in tact. No cracks, hairline cracks or breaks in glass tubes. The porcelain numbered gauge is in very good condition for age. Has some cracks as seen in photos. This antique gas flow meter is very unique and rare and would be a great addition to any collection! Measures approx. 11-1/2" long x 3" wide x 1" deep. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me before bidding or buying. Thanks for looking!
