An exceptional time recorder clock from the German Company of Schlenker Grusen. I have had this clock for many years, and have occasionally used it as an ordinary clock during that time. It is easy to temporarily disconnect the recorder mechanism to use as an exceptionally precise clock. Schlenker Grusen time recorders are quite rare, and I have never seen another one like this. Everything is in top working condition and with a new ink ribbon it would operate properly again. The quality of this clock is really outstanding and a nice example of German  engineering. It will operate for ten days on a wind of the two springs which operate both the clock and time recorder mechanism. This clock was once installed in a Swedish company which is still in operation today under a different name.  There is a serial number on the movement but no maker mark that I can see. I contacted a collector in Germany who recognized the maker and sent me this copy of an original advertisement, and so there is no doubt about the manufacturer. I'm not sure of the precise date, but think it was made between 1900-1920.  Three original keys come with it. The shipping price quoted is only for shipping within Europe and delivery costs for other areas would have to be discussed as this is a large heavy clock.
