This is a vintage lot of 16 wood auger brace bits. They all have a piece of green tape on them to help me describe them. With a magnifying glass this is what I could determine. Going from left to right in photos 1 to 4. #1: Cast-stel, #14, 13/16" diameter, 9 1/4" long. #2: Mephisto, #14, 13/16" diameter, 9 1/4" long. #3: unlabeled, 12/16" diameter, 9 1/4" long. #4: Mephisto, #11, 10/16" diameter, 8 1/8" long. #5: Mephisto, #10, 9/16" diameter, 8 1/2" long. #6: Mephisto, #10, 9/16" diameter, 8 3/4" long. #7: unlabeled, #9, 1/2" diameter, 8" long. #8: unlabeled, 7/16" diameter, 8 1/2" long. #9: Climax, 7/16" diameter, 8 10/16" long. #10: Mephisto, 6/16" diameter, 7 1/4" long. #11: Curtiss, 5/16" diameter, 8" long. #12: unlabeled, #5, 5/16" diameter, 7 1/2" long. #13: Phillips-LIC.1, Pat.2507231, made USA, Stanley No. 261, 4 1/4" long, phillips head #14: True Value, adjustable, 7/16" diameter head, 7 1/2" long. #15: Irwin, adjustable, No. 2, US of A, 13/16" diameter head, 8 5/8" long. #16: STCo, #12, 6/16" diameter, 8 1/4" long. All are somewhat rusty, but are in otherwise good vintage antique condition. Those that I call unlabeled, I simply can not read what it says with the magnifying glass.
