We're still here and will be back in touch asap. Milton Bradley Miniature Paper Cutter Dated 1895 Our signed miniature Milton Bradley Company paper cutter measures 6 1/2 "W x 6 3/4 "L x 1 9/16"T. The blade is 6 5/8"; entire handle 11 1/4". A colorful paper label for Rice & Hutchins Shoes for Little Men & Little Women is on the body. We thought the paper cutter might have been used in the shoe department of a general store. Rice & Hutchins was a shoe manufacturer in Boston, MA, est. 1866. By 1916, the company ranked among the largest of American shoe manufacturers & exhibited at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the 1915 World's Fair, where they received the Medal of Honor. The corporation was dissolved in 1929. Blade is marked Diamond Brand on the handle, with the patent date of Jan. 5, 1895. Along the side is Milton Bradley's early trademark.
