Constructed of a hard metal twisted screw shaft, wooden handle that travels the length of the shaft, and brass collars and looped end. Tool measures 17 1/2 inches overall. Very little pitting. Moves freely. All parts secure. Stump your friends with this rare tool. It was used in Northern California in the bridge construction profession. Email questions answered promptly.
