This projector features a compact portable design, and only weights about 16 lbs making it easy to carry around. This version also features a dual lamp design in case one goes out, it is a simple matter to slide the selector and continue what you were doing without routing around for another halogen bulb. This projector is listed as "parts only" due to missing components. The bulb and electronics appear to be functional, however this projector is missing its Fresnel lens. Without this the optics do not function properly, so an aftermarket Fresnel lens will need to be purchased with the appropriate size to fit the projector and focal length to collimate the light from the lamp. I'd be happy to make these approximate measurements upon request, but I can't guarantee any fits. There appears to be a small clip mechanism on the back of the glass screen, this is likely for retaining the Fresnel assembly and possibly some filter glass to block the heat from the bulb. This could be a fun DIY project for someone looking for a projector to do an LCD panel conversion, or for an oil light show or something similar. These old projectors are pretty neat.
