RESISTANCE UNIT WEIGHS 7LBS SD Static Discharge Grounding Reels are used for grounding portable machines or equipment operating in hazardous atmospheres. They safely dissipate static electrical build-up and reduce the chance of a spark. These reels are spring driven and carry various lengths of wire cable with grounding clamps. They are applied to fuel-transfer trucks, barges, dockside loading facilities, grain elevators, hazardous maintenance areas or wherever flammable liquids or combustible dust is present. This is an unused unit with signs of wear only from being handled without a box. There are no marks where it has been mounted, or wear on the wire itself.
