By obtaining a signal decoding lock, the SAT 9520 positively identifies many DBS, Ku, and C-band satellites. Installation of two-way broadband, VSAT and DBS installations is much quicker when the correct satellite is easily located and identified. The SAT 9250 simultaneously displays signal strength and IRD signal quality bar graphs for signal peaking, carrier-to-noise for optimization of cross polarization, and bit-error-rate for obtaining maximum rain-fade margin. The scan feature automatically measures, collects, and summarizes the proof of performance data requested by system providers.
