It can read up to 25 feet and has programmable read repetition rates for both one-shot and multiple reads. It comes in a beige color and features AWID's proprietary encrypted vehicle UHF tags in various types and styles. It also offers excellent price/performance characteristics compared to traditional long-range proximity card systems. Additionally, it works well with the UA-612 door access reader, allowing cards/tags to be used for both vehicle parking access and building/door access. This long-range reader uses passive RFID technology and has a compact package of 8 x 8 x 1.125 inches. The AWID LR-2000-B-U Long Range Reader is an ideal solution for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) and Access Control applications such as parking entry and gate control. The LR-2000 is perfect for both outdoor AVI and indoor asset monitoring and tracking. The LR-2000 has industry-standard Wiegand and RS-232 data output and is FCC certified.
