The analyzer comes equipped with programmable ending criteria, enabling the user to select the ideal testing conditions for their sample. The Computrac patented "predict" ending criteria ends the test when the difference between the predicted and the actual moisture content agree within a certain value. The "rate" ending criteria ends the test when the moisture evolved from the sample within a minute falls below a programmed threshold. The "time" ending criteria runs a fixed time test to determine the moisture content, much like a standard oven-drying test. The Arizona Instruments MAX-1000 Moisture Analyzer is currently available in nice condition. It is in good cosmetic and working condition, although it is due for calibration. The weight tray is missing, but this can be easily replaced. The MAXВ® 2000 and MAXВ® 1000 series analyzers are top of the line, utilizing cutting-edge technology to ensure moisture results are consistent and reliable. They utilize platinum RTD to measure temperatures generated from the heater coil which is relayed to an advanced microprocessor that controls and limits the heater output to maintain programmed test temperatures without overshoot. Factory calibration for the MAXВ® series is performed using a proprietary calibration device. This device provides N.I.S.T traceable calibration and verification of temperatures in the instrument ranging from 60В°C to 275В°C (225В°C in the MAXВ® 1000). The temperature displayed on the instrument's display is the measured temperature at the sample's height. This unit is being sold with a "three day right of return."
