Not really sure what this old pushbutton switch box would have been for, maybe a factory machinery or assembly line switch or tool switch, something like that. It is a General Electric 3 pushbutton switch that has a larger center red button for Stop and top black one is Fast and bottom black one is Slow. Housed in a metal junction box that has a nice Art-Deco type styling to the cover. Would guess from maybe the 1930's era. All metal box and painted in black enamel. A little wear or loss to black paint at one area of lid edge but overall paint is pretty much intact. The paint in the lettering on the top Fast button and a bit on the center Stop button is worn off a few letters but all buttons are readable. Button are probably some kind of Bakelite or similar material. Haven't taken it apart or had it connected to anything so can't guarantee the electrical operation but the mechanical function of the buttons seems to work and I would guess it's pretty simple inside and probably working but have to sell as is since it is untested. When you push the Stop in, which ever of the the other two was pushed in is popped out and when you push either the Fast or Slow, the Stop button comes out so that seems all as it should be. Looks like it might actually never have been used or put in operation as the knockouts at the ends to feed the power line in and out have never removed. TERMS OF SALE - PLEASE READ ALL CAREFULLY- It is all important and will save problems later. No Reserve Method of Payment: Paypal Shipping (for continental U.S):$5.00 - Buyer pays all shipping costs. NOTICE TO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: We do ship internationally but the cost can be considerably more and will be figured at conclusion of sale based on destination, weight, and method of shipping. It has also become necessary for me to include the following instructions to all overseas buyers. Every international shipment must go by air mail and over 4 lbs will have to go Global priority. That will greatly impact heavier items that don't have a high value. You will end up paying many times more for the shipping than the item in some cases. Please be aware of this possibility and make sure you have all shipping questions answered well before the end of the auction or you might be in for a considerable shock. I am aware that the high shipping rates may keep international buyers from bidding on some items, but don't want you to be unaware of the situation. The shipping cost shown in the listing is for U.S. shipping addresses only. Your specific countries' import duties, taxes, and customs charges are not included in the item price and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. I will not violate laws by under-valuing merchandise or marking the item as a gift on customs forms and the actual winning bid price is what will be declared as the value. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT as I will not be able to comply. Thank you. ATTENTION: PLEASE READ. Some last important instructions. -- Please do not request that we stop an auction or remove an item from an auction once it has started. The only reason I will ever stop an auction early is if I feel it is necessary for reasons such as if I made a serious mistake in the listing, or during the course of auction lost or damaged the item, etc. I do not stop auctions early at bidders request for the purpose of selling the item before the end of auction. It is against Ebay policy, plus not fair to other potential bidders, and I will not consider request to sell an item early for any reason. I also will not switch to a Buy it Now option on an item if it is not listed with that as an option, so please do not ask me if I would consider doing so. I am very happy to email for purpose of answering questions about the item for sale and giving more details if necessary, but I will very likely NOT reply to any email requests to do any of the above mentioned requests. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Thank you for reading and agreeing to all the terms of Ebay auctions and feel free to email me if you still have any questions about the item or terms and conditions. Thank you for looking at this item and we look forward to being of service to you.
Seller Notes Good used condition with light usage wear commensurate with age.
