This auction is for an original ASTROLUX BRAND Skyview Model <150mw Green dpss Portable Industrial / Engineering Grade Battery Powered Laser. The overall size is: 4 inch X 1 inch - machined from SOLID BRASS - and it is powered by a SINGLE CR123A 3V Battery (2 rechargeable batteries supplied + MV Multivoltage Charger). The beam is uncovered and protective Yellow-Orange GLASSES should be worn when using this Laser Device. The battery life is about 20 minutes per charging. The duty cycle of this laser is maximum 45 seconds continuous ON followed by 45 seconds OFF depending upon the ambient temperature so that the laser crystals can cool down. This uses a Quality High Power IR Diode that by irradiating two rare crystals at specific angles to each other Create Emerald Green 532nm wavelength light. This laser is specifically for pointing out objects or surveying end to end to distances of greater than 15,000 feet. This makes an impressive TEACHING TOOL in the laboratory and classroom environment. The ON - OFF Button is Momentary Push ON-OFF without safety key switch. YOU MUST BE OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM. NOT SOLD TO MINORS.
