This is a new ATLAS 12000# Jersey Barrier Lifter. These are the safest, easiest way to lift barriers into place. this item is equipped with urethane pads, to help grip the barrier and to prevent marring of the concrete surface of the barrier. It also has grease fittings that are recessed into the ends of the pins to prevent damage to the fittings from lifting apparattus. This is a heavy duty unit made almost entirely of 1" thick steel. it has an automatic locking mechanism which allows the use of this item without the need to have a laborer unlatch the lift when picking a barrier.  This is a great feature, as it saves labor and keeps the helper away from the lifting operation. Every other time the barrier clamp is latched, and the other times it is open and ready to clamp a barrier.
