With Cat5 cable, users can readily extend HDTV sources from DVD players, Blu-ray Disc player, PC, and any other kinds of sources compliant with TMDS to distant display monitors or LCD PC monitors. The HDMI-EC300 comes with two units: an HDMI transmitting/sending unit and an HDMI receiving unit. The transmitting unit is used to capture the input HDMI signals and carry the signals through one RJ45 connector into Cat-5/5e/6 cable. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI signal.
