Axis Communications T91A50 Telescopic Ceiling Mount for Network Cameras NEW! Sold as pictured. The Axis Communications T91A50 Telescopic Ceiling Mount for Network Cameras is designed for indoor installation of Axis cameras where the camera needs to be installed in a high ceiling. It is flexible in length and features a swivel action that allows the mount to swing if hit, e.g., by forklifts or tall vehicles. Thanks to its telescopic design, the T91A50 is easy to expand or collapse depending on the desired length. It is suitable in those environments where the camera may need to hang below lights and ventilation tubes, such as in warehouses, do-it-yourself or home-improvement stores. The mount can extend from 39” (1m) to 79” (2m), and if a longer pipe is needed, two optional accessories are available (sold separately): the T91A52 Extension Pipe 12” (30cm) and T91A52 Extension Pipe 39” (100cm). The recommended maximum length for T91A50 is 16.4’ (5.0m). With its 1.5” NPS thread, the T91A50 mount is compatible with most Axis cameras, housings, and mounts supporting the same type of thread. If a sturdier installation is required, the T91A50 Telescopic Ceiling Mount can also be secured with wires to the ceiling. To prevent the mount from swaying, the T91A50 can be secured with wires that run through the integrated eyelets. The cable is routed inside the telescopic pipe for a clean look and safe cabling. The ceiling mount can also be installed on a sloped ceiling, thanks to the ball joint, which ensures that the camera is still hanging straight. For further protection, the Ethernet cable is routed through the pipe and exit in the conduit holes, either at the bottom plate or at the side.
