Up for bid is a high-torque assembly removed from a NEW Black and Decker 9.6v cordless drill, model # PS9601. The assembly includes: - high-torque DC permanent magnet motor. - Reducing gearhead for even more torque. - Adjustable torque clutch setting from 1-6. - 3/8" keyless drill chuck. See images! Removed from a drill to experiment with robotics, or maybe a small EV (i.e. scooter or kid's vehicle), but never used. Drill had a damaged battery retention mechanism from the factory, thus the motor, gearhead, and chuck have never been used. I will also include the (removed, separated) drill housing (no other parts, i.e. trigger, battery contacts, etc. Only the plastic drill housing). Motor body measures 2.25" long by 1.4375" diameter. Great for your robotics experiment, or to replace an aging motor/gearhead/chuck assembly. You can read about the drill itself here.
