'The B&K Precision 725 datalogging meter takes simultaneous humidity and temperature readings and is designed for use in environmental testing, laboratory monitoring, process control, and building maintenance. A wand provides access to tight or recessed spaces. The capacitance humidity sensor has a measuring range of 0 to 100% relative humidity (RH) with a 0.1% resolution and an accuracy of + or – 2.5% RH at 77 degrees F. The meter has two temperature sensors including semiconductor temperature sensor with a -4 to +140 degree F/-20 to +60 degree C measuring range and a K-type thermocouple with a -328 to +2,498 degree F/-200 to +1,370 degree C measuring range. The K-type thermocouple has an accuracy of + or – 0.3% of reading + 2 degrees and the semiconductor sensor has an accuracy of + or - 1.4 degrees F/0.7 degrees C. The LCD has a three-line readout to display meter settings, relative humidity, temperature readings, and temperature sensor type. Minimum and maximum reading can also be displayed. Datalogging features enable the operator to set a sampling from 1 second to 59 minutes and store up to 16,300 data points. A real-time clock logs the time and date the measurements are taken. The RS-232 port and software enable the operator to export data to a computer (cable and software included). Interface also enables the operator to control the meter settings directly from the computer. The meter is powered by a 9V alkaline battery (included) that has a life span of approximately 100 hours. An AC adapter extends the usage period for longer readings (adapter not included). The meter includes a K-type thermocouple bead probe, RS-232 cable, software, 9V alkaline battery, carrying case, and instructions.
