This Transducer is from a functioning medical Facilities excess inventory. Transducer is in decent cosmetic condition with a few small scratches from normal wear; overall the unit is in good shape, (Please See Photos). Due to the fact that I don't have much knowledge regarding this equipment nor the necessary components to test it, I’m selling this Transducer as-is and as pictured. Type: 8818 B-K Medical Manufacturers Description: The 8818 is a simultaneous biplane and endfire transducer designed for use with the Pro Focus 2202 and Flex Focus 1202 ultrasound systems. It has two convex arrays, one for transverse imaging and one for sagittal and endfire imaging. The convex array has a sector angle of 140. With the Expanded Sector feature, the sector angle is widened to approximately 180 providing an even better view. Applications The 8818 is designed for prostate imaging and is also suitable for transvaginal imaging. The 8818 enables bot transrectal and transperineal puncture and biopsy.
