Badger Wisconsin Knife Works High Speed Steel 3 Blade Set Velvet lined box Salesman Sample Description: This listing is for a set of blades in a snap case. Label on the case states "Badger Wisconsin Knife Works Beloit Wis. Engineers to the Woodworking Industry." Inside this case are 3 blades each marked with the Badger logo and also Wisconsin Knife Works Beloit Wisconsin High Speed Steel. The blades are beveled and one is corrugated on the bottom ( see images). The case is 6.5" by 3.5" by 1". 2 of the blades are 2" by 1.5" and the blade with the ribbed bottom is 2" by 2". This blades appear to be unused though there is some soiling and perhaps oxidation from storage. The edges are sharp. The case is lined in blue velvet with 2 snaps to close the box.  The case is solid and functional though does show some wear and soiling from storage. This  was located in a box of older tools from a Memphis TN estate that has yielded many unique items. Initially we were unsure how these were used or exactly what these are but a helpful ebayer provided the following:  These are not working knives. What you have is a salesman's sample kit showing a section of each example of a 25 inch long corrugated bar of knife steel. The steel is used to grind profiles of various shapes for moldings and then placed into a moulder head which also has a corrugated face and locking gib Be sure to look at the pictures to see details of content and condition.
