Outapiaries and their Management ************************************** This auction is for an original 1919 FIRST EDITION of "Outapiaries and their Management" by M. G. Dadant.  YOU'LL  LOVE  THIS  BOOK!!! It was especially written for the "advanced bee keeper and those who are making a business of the pursuit." Increased demand for honey have changed many smaller beekeepers into outapiarists.  This volume is meant to aid the outapiarist in planning and managing his system of apiaries. It provides a clear and concise explanation of  the requirements for proper placing, arranging and managing of outapiaries. Too many beekeepers into out apiary beekeeping  without fundamental knowledge of its requirements. The result is that apiaries are often located improperly and have to be moved after errors are discovered by costly mistakes. Special chapters are devoted to apiary sites, basis of placing the apiary, systems of management, moving, autos and trucks, honey houses and equipment, and treatment of apiary during different seasons of the year, with special apparatus used by large beekeepers. This book is especially valuable to the beginning out apiarist, but will contain many items of value to the experienced outyard man too. ================================== CONDITION OF BOOK: Published in 1919, this book is in GOOD CONDITION for its age and especially to be 97 YEARS OLD!!! ALL PAGES ARE PRESENT!!! and firmly bound with NO TEARS!!! or stray in text markings. It measures 5 1/2" X 7 3/4" and is complete with 124 pages plus 3 pages of the publishers advertisements for other beekeeping books. This edition is a RARE edition. There are many modern reprints of this book; yet, the original early editions are very difficult to obtain.
