Belsaw Hood Safety Interlock  Bracket & Switch This sale is for the Safety Interlock switch bracket for the Model 985/986 Belsaw planer/molder. It is key #5 on the parts drawing of the hood assembly. This is the bracket for the switch for the "hood closed" circuit for power to the machine.  If your bracket has broken and you have by-passed the switch, your planer will not shut off if the hood is opened while it is running.  This is a safety issue.  Now you can replace the bracket.  This is an OEM part so it will fit.  The switch (key # 6) is also included.
