Welch mechanical vacuum pump model 1402 rated at 140 litres per minute (approx 5 cubic feet per minute). Good condition.  Excellent vacuum. Motor 1/2 HP General Electric for 115/230 volt operation. Numerous scratches, chipped and missing paint, stains but otherwise in good condition. This pump was removed from a leak detector and as such saw very little service.  The base came from elsewhere. No belt guard. The gas ballast valve has been disabled as it was not required in the leak detector.  If you need the gas ballast feature then this is not the pump for you. The last two photos show the pump running under test and the vacuum guage showing 0 mm Hg. The shipping weight of the pump is about 120 pounds. I can ship the pump by parcel post by shipping it in two packages, the pump in one and the motor and the base in the other.  The calculated cost shown must therefore be doubled.  Contact me with your postal/zip code to get an exact cost before purchasing the pump.
