FEATURES SM3 • Measuring range: 7-350 Hz. • Accuracy: +/- 5%. For more accurate measurements, we check.  • Supplied with 9V long-life battery (6LR61).  • Display of low battery.  • Meets EC.  • Delivery rigid box with protective cover for the device and the operating instructions.  PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION  The SM3 measure the natural frequency of vibration of a tensioned belt between two pulleys and allows calculate the pre-tension mounting FPT  SPECIFICS  • Compatible with any type belt (with or without steel reinforcement).  • Convenient and easy to use for editors or maintenance service.   • Convenient operation: good readability, light display, wear indicator battery, comes with a protective cover and hard case.  • Excellent price / performance ratio of the product.  BENEFITS  A good pre-tension ensures quality the operation of the transmission:  • increases the life of the belt and bearings  • improves the quality of the engagement and positioning,  • reduces noise.  In some cases, the SM3 also provides an indication of the parallelism of the shafts by comparative measurement on the two edges of the belt
