Bentonite Clay Desiccant 1 Pounds Loose Bulk Bentonite Clay Desiccant     Product Description: Bentonite Clay Desiccant absorbs up to 25% of it's weight in moisture. It's a common substitute for Silica Gel (which can absorb up to 40% of it's weight in moisture) due to it's inexpensive cost. Clay Desiccant is non-indicating and reusable. Clay Desiccant is used throughout the supply chain as a moisture absorbent to preserve items by combating damaging effects of moisture including mold, mildew, corrosion, and degradation. Clay Desiccant is packaged with a variety of goods including: Food (when Clay Desiccant is packaged in Tyvek it meets government standards including: FDA, DIN, Mil-Spec, and JEDEC) Semicondustor Dry Packing Steel or Metal Components Military Goods Electrical Components Machinery & Equipment Home Storage Needs Guns & Ammunition Pharmaceutical Applications (When packaged in Tyvek) Clay Desiccant is effective with a temperature range from below freezing up to 120°F. For applications over 120°F use Silica Gel instead. Clay Desiccant  packets will not deteriorate or "swell" as it absorbs moisture.   Be sure to add us to your favorites list, as we continually add new products.
