The MPC 66 is a small, unobtrusive acoustical boundary microphone with a half-spherical polar pattern, which has been designed for round-table discussions, tele/video conferencing, studio and live recording applications. Because of its high sensitivity, the output level can be maintained even when miking from a distance. A built-in rumble filter eliminates low-frequency wind and interference noise. Features: Half-spherical polar pattern Low profile with small footprint and surface mountable Phantom power 12 - 48 V Higher gain before feedback over typical boundary microphones Low-cut filter eliminates low frequency rumble and unwanted surfacebound noise Specifications: Transducer type: Condenser (back electret) Operating principle: Pressure Polar pattern: Half-spherical Open circuit voltage at 1 kHz (0dB = 1V/Pa): 18 mV/Pa Nominal impedance: approx. 180 ? Load impedance: >= 1000 ? Dimensions: (L x W x H) 86 x 61 x 21 mm Weight without cable: 240 g (MPC 66 with cable), 180 g (MPC 66 VC), 175 g (MPC 66 VJ) Frequency response: 50 - 20,000 Hz Max. SPL at 1 kHz: 124 dB S/N ratio rel. to 1 Pa: 60 dB A-weighted equivalent SPL: approx. 26 dB Power supply: 8 - 52 V phantom power Current consumption: approx. 3.4 mA Variant: MPC 66 V SW, MPC 66 V WS, MPC 66 VC SW
