ARE YOU TIRED OF YOUR CHAIR BEING A LOW RIDER? - You can make it good as new with this replacement lift cylinder. EASY TO DO - It only takes a few minutes and a few common tools to complete this easy repair. Detailed instructions are included with your replacement cylinder. THIS CYLINDER IS THE STANDARD SIZE AND WILL FIT AERON AND MOST OTHER CHAIRS -- The bottom of the cylinder, which goes into the base (the part with wheels) is 2 inches across. The shaft on top of the cylinder, which goes up under the seat, is 1 inch across. You should measure, but chances are it will fit. HEAVY DUTY - This replacement cylinder is built tough and will offer years of service. It will lift your chair 5 inches. It is 10.5 inches at its shortest and 15.5 inches at full length. PEACE OF MIND - If this part does not work on your chair, we will give your money back. We are committed to having satisfied customers. Notes on Compatibility with Herman Miller Chairs This replacement cylinder fits great in the Aeron chair. There is an adjustment screw on that model of chair (directly above the cylinder, under the plastic cover) that may need to be adjusted for the cylinder to work properly. Also, if you own the Mirra chair from Herman Miller, this replace cylinder will not work in that particular model. The Mirra chair requires a replacement cylinder with a bracket and lever instead of the standard push button.
