This system allows for identification via face recognition technology; 2 built-in cameras scan for the unique features of a human face in order to quickly record a "punch" for the user. Glasses, hairstyles and facial hair have no effect on the Face900 time clock. With the Lonestar Face900 "buddy punches" are totally eliminated. There are no cards to lose or wear-and-tear parts to replace. The Lonestar Face900 serves as an affordable long-term accountability solution for your business, school, or organization. Communication & Reporting The Face900 time clock is designed to connect to a local network via a network (Ethernet) cable to a router. The system does have an alternative communication option; it can download punch data to a USB FLASH drive. This feature allows the time clock to function in a more stand-alone compacity without dependance on a router for communication with your PC. Reports are created through the A1 attendance software that is included with the system (please see report examples below). The reports are customizable and exportable to Excel. We provide the software as freeware- anyone can download it from our website. The time clock has a static IP address that can be changed with the administrator password. The unit's default IP address is 192.168.001.224. Communication over a local network is recommended but not required. *Please note that punch data does not automatically "push" from the time clock to the database on your PC. A user most log in to the A1 attendance software and execute a "data gathering" command to import new punches. The Lonestar Solution We stand by our product and we stand by you.
