Blue M CW-6680F Oven   For sale- a Blue M Model CW-6680F Oven.  This particular Blue M also says that Blue M is a unit of General Signal, and I have never run across a Blue M product that says that and I see them all the time.  So I think this is a fairly recent vintage product although now it looks like Blue M is part of TPS Thermal Product Solutions.  Serial number CW-795 if that tells you anything.   I usually don’t get too worked up about the big Blue M ovens, most of the time they look pretty tired by the time they get to surplus and the logistics of handling and shipping them are an added complication.  But this one looked so nice I decided to make an exception (I think most of what you see in the picture of the interior is just dust and should wipe away).  And I was struck by how hot this thing can get, 1300 degrees F, which is really high by oven standards so perhaps furnace is a more apt description.  It is of course 3 phase which always makes testing a challenge, and if I am reading the label correctly it is looking for 25 amps on each of the three legs, so presumably that would require 75 amp service?   So I don’t know that I will be able to test it even for power.  When I retrieve it it will be stored in a building with 3 phase, but I just rent space there and it’s an ongoing business, so access to a suitable outlet may be an issue.  I can’t just say excuse me, I am going to unplug your lathe so I can test my oven.  So maybe I will be able to power it up at some point, maybe not.  So for now it is completely untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.   However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.  Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.  Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.  Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs, which may be substantial.   Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.  As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.  If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways.  If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it.  In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item.   I foolishly ran off without measuring anything but the height (too tall to fit in the trailer I brought).  I found measurements on the net but other than the height I can’t confirm them so please assume them to be approximate and subject to revision.  They show it as 53x36x67H (height is correct), and the interior oven space as 20x17 1/2 x20 1/2 ”.  The other interesting thing about this unit is that in addition to the viewing port on the front it also has a window on the back.  And as I said, most of the time these are pretty tired when they get to surplus, if they have a window on them usually you can see diddly through it.  One of the pictures was taken through the back glass and as you can see it’s nice and clean without me doing anything to it.  I apologize for the pictures, taken with my phone, a process I have yet to have much luck with.  I should have some better ones to add within a week or so.   Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment, including some smaller ovens.  Check back often!   Sold as is, as described, as pictured.  Potential buyers are asked to please make sure you have read the listing carefully, and understand what you are buying.  Ebay’s condition codes for used items, which I am now required to select from, might imply a degree of functionality that my limited time, knowledge, and facilities do not allow me to ascertain.  If the functional condition of the item is known it will be stated as such in the listing.  Unless a warranty is specifically offered returns are not accepted regardless of any implied functionality.   You are also encouraged to visit my “ME” page, where my terms, conditions, and philosophy of doing business are outlined.  I don’t think anything there is outside the bounds of normal e-commerce, but they are binding on the transaction.   Shipping will be motor freight on a pallet unless you would like to come pick it up.  I haven’t moved this yet but I would guess the shipping weight at around 700 pounds.  I would estimate the freight cost for that at between $400 and 850 to the east and west coast respectively.  Residential deliveries, deliveries that require liftgates, deliveries to the boonies, and deliveries to schools or universities will all be more because it takes longer for the carrier to get the job done.  Shipping will be via Old Dominion Freight Lines, which has done a consistently good job getting my shipments where they are going without roughing them up.  I will be happy to quote you for the shipment, but I need to know the zip code, residential or commercial, and whether a lift gate will be required.   If you would prefer to use another carrier that’s fine .  It will be shipping from a warehouse with a loading dock in zip code 23093, but I do not live there!  I require pickup confirmation the day before and your carrier must provide an emailed printable copy of the Bill of Lading so that there is paperwork available for the driver to sign when he gets there.  The BOL should have all the info filled out when I receive it, blank copies are unacceptable.   I can ship this to Canada via Old Dominion, but they do not offer customs brokerage services, so you would need to have your own customs broker lined up before it shipped.
