You are bidding on a WORKING vintage Measurements Corp Model 59 grid dip oscillator with a full set of coils. Serial #2900. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition given it age. Nobs are operated smoothly and the cables are in good condition. The needle movement operate smoothly. The coils are in excellent shape as follows:      A      2.2   -     5.0  MHz        B      5.0   -   10.0          C    10.0   -   22.0          D    22.0   -   45.0            E    45.0   -  100.0         F  200.0   -  400 MHz It measures the resonant frequency of RF circuits from 2.2 MHz to 400 MHz. It can also be use as: Variable frequency oscillator An absorption wavemeter An oscillating detector A tuned circuit absorption detector The unit has original tubes and capacitor. Given it age will require restoration to realize it full potential.
