The Leica Digicat i-Series locators make ground surveys a simple and speedy task increasing on site safety. Defaulting to power mode, maximum sensitivity ensures operators are protected against lethal electrical cables, whilst additional modes are used to detect other buried utilities. The Leica Digicat i-Series locators provide operators with a simple solution for underground surveys. Designed with safety in mind, the Leica Digicat i-Series have a number of features which keep operators safe during the excavation process. The unique onboard memory found on the Leica Digicat 600i or Digicat 650i extends this safety concept. The onboard memory function stores information on how the locator has been used, this information can be uploaded using Logicat software for further analysis increasing on site safety, whilst identifying training needs. Leica Digicat 650i locator The Leica Digicat 650i has the same functionality as the Digicat 600i, with the added benefit of depth estimation, when used in conjunction with the Leica Digitex 100t and 300t signal transmitter or Digimouse (sonde) in 8/33 kHz mode. Data Logging The Digicat 600 i-Series records and stores information while in use. Information is recorded every second after completion of the initial start-up routine. These records are stored in the locators memory and can be retrieved and transferred via Bluetooth to a PC or other electronic device for analysis. Storage time is approximately 80 hours use Logicat Software Allows you to upload the stored records to view the locators use, simply upload all records or search by date. Bluetooth Connectivity The Digicat 600 i-Series has the added benefit of Bluetooth wireless connectivity. It allows the Digicat to integrate seamlessly with mobile mapping technology to log survey data, in addition to enabling wireless Bluetooth data transfer.
