Brass Fire Hose Connector (2 1/2 ”) w/Pin Lug Fittings, Hewitt, Used Up for auction are these Brass Fire Hose Connector (2 1/2 ”) w/Pin Lug Fittings, Hewitt, Used, removed from service. This former industrial grade hose designed for use as a higher pressure fire hose. The tube was a smooth black extruded blend. The cover was a white weave remnant of a fire hose. All hose was crimped with (1) Female Pipe Swivel, Pin lugged and (2) Male Pipe Fitting (also pin lugged) on the other, with (2) crimped sleeves on each end. The connectors measured 2 1/2 ” inside diameter of the brass National Pipe Threads standards. This would be a great addition to a fire protection collection or a brass fitting collection.
