Item listed is a Used Briggs & Stratton 5hp Horizonal Shaft Engine. This had been checked over, The ignition/points have been replaced, the Carburetor and Gas Tank are also Clean and in good working condition, a new Carburetor Diaphragm and Air Filter Element have been installed. The Valve Tolerances have been checked and are within spec, and New Piston Rings have been installed. The internal components are in good used condition and the crankcase was clean. The engine burns clean, does not smoke and has good healthy compression.  This engine starts up and runs well cold or warm, runs smoothly in all speed ranges and idles nicely. The Speed Control and Shut-off is set up for a Remote Cable that attaches under the Gas Tank (typical for these engines). The recoil starter is in good working condition. *Engine has been properly cleaned, scuffed/sanded, etch-primed and painted. The Crankshaft is 3/4" diameter and is 2&1/4" long. There is a 5/16 hole drilled/tapped in the Crankshaft. I do have a Sump Cover and Camshaft available for dual PTO setup- feel free to inquire if you need this option.
