THE shipping might not calculate right from EBAY. A person whill need to calculate the shipping based on the two separate packages and the weight of each one of those. Broman Engineering 861A / 310 Temperature Calibrator This unit is in beautiful condition, I didn't even put a cleaning cloth to it before taking pictures. My understanding of this unit is it has a temperature controlled heater system that you place the thermometer that you are testing into and wait for them to come up to temp and monitor them compared to the temperature of the gauge system that is included. This tester is made surplus by a local utility company. It is untested and sold as is. Made to operate on 120 volt AC. It comes in the nice packing case with the cables shown in the pictures. Shipping of this will need to be made in two boxes. Because Ebay doesn't have a way to calculate that, email me for shipping costs to your location. Shipping is based on one box with a weight of 37# 17x17x17 and the other box 51# 17x17x22. These will be shipped in the wooden case that they are shown in, in the pictures. If you want different packaging it will be charged at the cost. BROMAN 861A Temperature Calibrator The Broman 861A temperature calibrator is a portable apparatus designed primarily for checking the winding temperature indicators (WTIs) on large oil-cooled power transformers. The calibrator consists of a thermal unit and a control unit connected by a 30 foot cable. The thermal unit is a thermally insulated cylindrical block of aluminum, mounted on a steel frame, which is placed on top of the transformer under test. The WTI probes are removed from the transformer wells and are inserted into test wells in the aluminum block. The block is heated to the desired temperature by an internal cartridge element controlled by the control unit situated at ground level where the WTI instruments are visible and where the associated control contacts are accessible.
