The blades are in excellent condition. It is smooth and in very good condition despite it’s age. The thumb screw “stop” is bent but it does tighten properly to hold the specific size one sets. The other stop screw is not 100% operational. Someone tried to make a “fix” but it does it does not tighten to the slide allowing proper operation. The box is not the original B&S box. It is a L.S. Starrett caliper box and one of the “hooks” that keep the box closed is missing. The other hook closure is bent but it is functioning rather well. All the "issues" are well documented in the pictures. There is no other damage to the box. This is a great deal for someone who can use it. I bought it used after I was no longer working due to disabilities. This caliper is being sold as-is. Please, e-mail any questions you may have before bidding. Buy from an experienced seller.
