Item: Vintage “Brown & Sharpe” Gage Note: Under the Vintage Tools Category in my Ebay Store, you will find plenty of other great items including Machinist Tools. Thanks Description: For sale is a Vintage “Brown & Sharpe – Universal Surface Gage”. This is the Model# 620. Not 620A. I don’t know what the difference is, but I see many of the 620A in other listings. Mine is stamped “620” Only. This item measures 2 1/4 ”L x 1/2 ”T and weighs 10 ounces. Those measurements are for the base of course. The rest of this precision tool is adjustable. I believe this is the Original Box that came with this item, but I cannot be sure because it does not have the label on it anymore. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 – 10 (Ten being MINT/New in Package), I can confidently grade this item’s condition to be a solid 8 at least. That grading is based on a visual inspection of this gage. I have never used one of these so I do not know what exactly it is supposed to do. I have tested moving the arms in different positions and tightening them of course. There is nothing broken anywhere and everything appears and moves/tightens problem free. This tool was discovered among many other Vintage Machinist Tools that were all very well taken care of and all very clean. Normally, I have to clean most tools before I photograph them and this one was immaculate to begin with. The Box this item comes in is secure but does have plenty of exterior surface wear. My photos are an accurate depiction of this item’s TRUE Condition. Shipping is based SOLELY on Dimensions of Packed Item & Buyer’s Zip Code. I do NOT and am totally against profiting on shipping. Shipping: 90% of all items will be shipped in 48hrs or less (usually the next day actually) unless the item is paid for on a Saturday. The Post Office is closed on Sunday so shipping will begin again on Monday. No international shipping unless done through Ebay’s “Global Shipping Program”. Returns: Returns are accepted if the item is not as described or something happens to the item during shipment.
