| “This unit was inadequately packed and then dropped in shipping. Very little damage is visible outside the case, but internal damage is substantial. There are metalwork problems like a bent chassis and bent mounting rods. The metalwork problems are small compared to the electrical ones. Eleven of the thirty three filter sections are broken. I used an ohm meter to discover that the damage was always the coils. They have opened internal to the coil. The coils were custom wound for B&K and this unit went out of production in the early 1960's.Again, 1/3 of the filters are broken. Direct replacement parts are not available. This unit works on the other filter sections, but the way this unit is used requires all the filter sections to be functional.” |
