Our corporate office  is located in Broward County Florida and we are proud to have  our address listed on our website. We are even more proud when  our clients visit our corporate office to discuss their  project in our state-of-the-art facility which includes the  latest in technology as well as a showroom containing a  full-size metal building and options. We can only surmise why  some steel building companies are so reluctant to share their  address - maybe they never stay in one place for very long or  are concerned about unhappy customers tracking them down.   Does Buck Steel have  any "Cancelled Order Specials"? No we do not. The truth is -  that this is one of the oldest pitches in the steel building  industry and is simply a tool used to pressure a customer into  buying a building. Companies that allow this pitch to be used  are likely just telemarketing organizations with no meaningful  knowledge of steel building design, engineering, or the erecting  process.   Why is it so hard to  get a realistic picture of what my building is going to look  like before I buy it? Because many steel building  companies are either telemarketing companies, or just box  brokers, they lack the  expertise to use design software, CAD, and 3D modeling software.  If a steel building company can not create a  professional  3D rendering of your project before you buy from them - how  likely are they to succeed in designing, engineering, and  fabricating the actual structure? We  provide 3D renderings and even interactive 3D models to our  clients who are committed to doing business with Buck Steel.   What is the difference  between Building Plans, Anchor Bolt Plans and Foundation Plans? Building Plans come standard  with all buildings. They are drawings representing the  structural design of  the building and show that the building was engineered to conform to the local building codes.  Building Plans should be stamped by an engineer licensed in the  state where the building will be erected. Anchor Bolt Plans come standard with all buildings and are  included in our building plans. They are  drawings representing the design of the base plates on the  columns, showing the location of the anchor bolts used to secure  the building to the slab. Foundation plans do NOT come standard with all buildings. They  are drawings that are designed by a licensed engineer using your building plans and  soil condition which tell the concrete contractor how large the  piers have to be to support the building - along with detailed specifications of size  and placement of rebar, wire mesh and hairpins. Counties often  require a set of stamped foundation plans as part of the normal  permit process. Foundation plans should be stamped by an  engineer licensed in the state where the building will be  erected.   Do I need to pull permits  for my steel building? With the exception of  certain agricultural applications, YES. Private individuals can  often pull their own permits for their project - but commercial  customers will have to hire a local General Contractor to pull  permits. Can Buck Steel provide  me with electrical, plumbing, and interior finish work for my  building? No, providing  such services would mean that we would be acting in the capacity  of a General Contractor which we are not licensed to do. You  would need to hire a local General Contractor in your  building project to facilitate any interior build-out.   About Buck  Steel   Buck Steel supplies high  quality and durable pre-engineered steel buildings for  commercial, industrial and residential construction.
